This is a Roth, W., GmbH; München's Apollo 3000 in a bright Orange case from 1973. The 1970s were an exciting time for Televisions. Mini Televisions became common and transistor TVs made their way into everyone's lives. The early 1970s TV sets, like this beautiful Hitachi, symbolised a shift in how this electronic device was perceived prior to this era: from being bulky and large to being really colourful, small and fun.
It was also a period when designers and brands were inspired by the space explorations that defined the era. They even named their models as possible tributes to the satellites. And hence, the name "Apollo 3000."
